EDIT 10/6/19: The teal brush broke. Snapped while using it. As mentioned, I have the shower version of this brush, and it's held up fine. Can't help but wonder if the supplier is the issue.Ever since I was a girl, I have searched for the magical brush and or comb that would not fail, the implement that I would not eventually have to cut free.As I grew, I learned the ways of thick, curly (3A, 3B type, but soft) hair. I learned that conditioner was my friend, and that it was best to comb out the tangled nest before rinsing it out. I learned not to brush my hair when it was dry, or the tresses would be angered and become unmanageable without intervention. Experience taught me that starting from the end and working my way up was the best chance I had of freeing the individual strands from their neighbors. I tried leave in conditioners (fail), co-washing (fail, also ew), drying with a cotton t-shirt (win; wear as a turban or pat dry, not rub), but still, my hair would knot up instantly once the teeth of the comb passed through.Then I learned of a new way. It was during a professional appointment, where the hairdresser brushed through my hair like it was nothing. I demanded to know how she achieved the remarkable feat. She told me. Wet brush. I purchased one within 24 hours. Flimsy bristles, no way that should work, but it did. Even better, my hair didn't instantly tangle back up. I was sold.Then one day, I saw the shower version of this Flex brush, and on a whim, I bought it. Surely, I thought, they've become complacent, this brush will not survive.It did better than survive. It's more effective than the original. The bristles go through more hair at once, I can feel them on my scalp. It works on wet or dry hair, untangles easily, leaves most of your hair on your head.Heed my words, curly girls and boys, this brush is stronger than you think. It works!It's worth $8-10 to find out, anyway, isn't it?Back sometime last year I got a similar one but at an actual store in the area where I live. Every time I bring it with me anywhere with my boyfriend he would always ask to use it. So I told him if I find the same design you can pick the color you like. He liked the purple one so I bought it for him for our 5 year anniversary in October 2021. And now it’s currently January of 2022 he uses it everyday, except when he forgets to pack it for trips.FANTASTIC PRODUCT AND A MUST BUY FOR THOSE WITY SENSITIVE SCALPS!!! This is my second Wet Brush. The first one broke after about a year or so of using, but this is also contributed to my son constantly flexing it ? Keep it away from kids if you like longevity ha! Anyways, The Best detangling tool EVER!!! I have a sensitive scalp so usually have a friend help me prep my hair for styling after taking out my braids. This brush lets me do all the detangling myself with ease and is so so so gentle and effective. It flexes and runs through the hair so lovely I can even do my child's hair without them running away. Despite what happened to the first brush I will continue to buy more!! Like I said, just keep it away from kids that like to bend things and it will last you some.Wrong color! It was supposed to be light lavender. From the reviews it’s a common problem. It’s not a cheap brush. At last they could get the color selection correct!!I have fine hair that knots easily. I have searched and searched for a brush that behaves like this one. It has a little “give” because of the design, and doesn’t yank out my hair. Great for wet hair and dry hair. Good for blow drying, too.As ordered.I bought this brush for myself and then my husband took it. So I had to buy another one for myself. Then my husband wanted another one for his spare bathroom and one for his travel bag. We now own four. It is lightweight and flexible. We love how it glides through our hair. It is a wonderful brush.My wife and I both love this brush. It's works wonders detangling wet hair and it's flexible frame allows for the brush to contour to your head shape. This makes the brush very comfortable to use, especially with shorter hair. However, this brush's greatest strength is also it's greatest weakness. The small pieces of plastic that make the brush very flexible are also very weak. My wife has broken at least 2 of these brushes and I have 1. If they could make this plastic a little stronger, this brush would be perfect. i've given this product 3 stars because it's frustrating having to replace this brush every 2-3 months.Couldn’t go without this now!!
