The bristles are kinda soft. For my purposes, it works out okay, but might not for another shopper.My husband had his shoulder replaced, and needed assistance to bathe while the incision healed, and still is undergoing physical therapy to improve range of motion. The back brush is soft enough, yet firm enough, to wash your entire body. The wider, smaller brush is firm and jagain, versatile. The third is a nail brush. Just perfect. At least, for my uses.Soft but effective brush for your back. The back of the brush also works for lotion.When I ordered the shower back brushes I ordered the two option but received only one.
