The instructions and pictures for assembly of cord hooks were non-existent practically. Lots of redos before getting it right. All steps for assembly were lacking.peso ligeroOur downstairs vacuum cleaner was breaking down so it was time to get a new one. All we wanted was an old-fashioned upright vacuum- pretty much the kind we have used since I got a Eureka upright as a wedding shower gift 45 years ago. One with a cord and a bag and does a good job on our rugs. And this is it! My favorite Eureka- now renamed Sanitaire. This one is meant for commercial use so it's a little heavier and a little noisier than some of the more trendy vacuums but it does a good job and the price is great for a solidly built vacuum. It adjusts for different rug piles, it uses the same bags (Eureka F &G) and it has a heavy-duty cloth bag. It does not have a light but I never found a light to be of any use so that's not an issue. We are very pleased with it. The weight is not an issue since it's only for use on one level of the house. We don't have pets so I have no idea how it works on pet hair. The extralong cord is great. Over the years we have tried other brands and other types of vacuums and keep coming back to the good old Eureka. I use a 31 year-old Eureka upstairs and the guy painting our bedrooms said it was the best vacuum he's ever used.Second purchase ❤️❤️❤️ Love it**** Old School technology, tried n true design will always out clean anything new on the market! Can’t go wrong with the upright and canister duo for all your cleaning needs.This Vacuum was originally the Eureka Upright that sold in the 1980's! I still have mine and it works perfect!It Can Suck up Pet Hair like no others being sold as Pet Vacuums. Takes the same F&G Bags and you can still buy any parts to fix after all these years! My Original 1980's Eureka Has Gone thou maybe 3 belts in its entire life so Buy good Belts and if something jams the beater brush shut it off immediately or it will cook the belt! If the motor is the same and someone didn't cheap it up like everything else you are buying a monster of a vacuum! You can Lock the handle and it will do stairs but lacks getting right in the corners so I just use my hand to brush it forward first! Any Bad Reviews? Come on Now! It's 150 bucks and if its anything like the Original Eureka it has lasted 40 years and has Zero Problems!!Very basic entry level version of the classic Sanitaire (the commercial brand by Eletrolux) vac design. Simple to assemble with screwdriver, straightforward instructions provided. Well build basic unit, has 30' long durable power cord. Unlike many other Sanitaire commercial vac which have shake out bag, this model come setup to use disposable filter bag, 1 ea is provided. Use standard Sanitaire F & G bag (suggest HEPA type best) and RD replaceable round belts, readily available on AMZ & elsewhere. Good solid basic vac for home & office, more durable & better performing than others in this price class. Brush bar also easily replaced. Next step up would be Sanitaire SC679K or SC886G which have shake out bag, Better commercial models like SC886G feature 2000hr long life motor vs std 500hr on less models. Many residential users find std 500hr is adequate.My wife likes the cleaner because it is basically the same as the one she had for many years before.needs more suction
